Dr Widjaja Lukito serves as an Advisor to SEAMEO Regional Centre for Food and Nutrition under the auspices of the Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization, University of Indonesia. He was the Director of the Center in the years 2004-2008. Since 2009, he has also been acting as the Coordinator (then Deputy of Coordinator into 2015) of the ongoing development of Human Nutrition Research Cluster, Medical Education and Research Center, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia. Dr. Lukito was appointed to the Secretary of Member of the Advisory Council of the President in the field of People's Welfare, Indonesia, from 2010-2014 and is currently Chair of the Indonesian Danone Institute Foundation. Dr Lukito received his medical degree in 1986 from Airlangga University in Surabaya, Indonesia and his PhD in Medicine in 1995 at the Faculty of Medicine, Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. His research interests include nutrition, aging and non-communicable diseases, and their linkages with metabolism. He is the Past-President of the Indonesia Clinical Nutrition Society, and the Past President of the Asia Pacific Clinical Nutrition Society.
Prof. Hardinsyah, MS, PhD born in Pekanbaru, Indonesia, Graduated Bachelor degree in Nutrition from Bogor Agricultural University of Indonesia (IPB), Magister of Science degree in Community Nutrition from IPB with the research jointly done at Cornell University, USA. Then PhD in Nutrition from University of Queensland - Brisbane Australia. His experiences and previous position are research of interest on maternal and child nutrition. Professor and Head of Department of Community Nutrition, Dean of Faculty of Human Ecology, and Director of Collaboration of IPB. Currently, as the Professor of Human Nutrition at the Department of Community Nutrition, FEMA IPB, and the Chairman of the Food and Nutrition Society of Indonesia (PERGIZI PANGAN Indonesia) and the Chairman of the Nutrition Higher Education Association of Indonesia (AIPGI).
Idrus Jus’at, M.Sc., Ph.D he was born Baturaja, April 24, 1950. Graduated as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Nutrition, Majoring in International Nutrition, Minoring in Epidemiology and Agricultural Economics Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA August, 1991. He has been a Senior Lecturer School of Health Sciences Esa Unggul University, Chairman, Academic Ethical Commission, Esa Unggul University, Chairman, Board of Trusty, Esa Unggul University. Research experience Study on the development of nutritional status monitoring system, a collaborative research project Directorate of Community Nutrition, Dept. of Health, Academy of Nutrition, and Cornell University, USA (research associate), Study on nutritional status and food habits among elementary school-children aged 8-10 in West Jakarta, Bogor Agriculture University and ILSI (SEA), Evaluation of the Impact of Vitamin A fortified cooking oil consumption in Indonesia, KFI, MOH, GAIN (Co.PI). Safarina Golfiani Malik DVM, MS, PhD was graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia, in 1987. She obtained her Master in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 1995, and completed her PhD from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 2001, on the topic of "Human Disorder of Energy Transduction-Molecular Pathology".
She worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Bogor Agricultural University, from 1988-1994. She has joined the Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology in 1994 until now, and is Senior Research Fellow leading the Mitochondrial and life-style related diseases group at the Institute since 2010. Her research interest include mitochondrial genetics and dysfunction associated with non-communicable life-style related diseases, early life nutrition, and mechanism of bilirubin toxicity. She has presented her research in national and international meetings, and together with her collaborators, she has published papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
He was born in Bulukumba, South Sulawesi on 21 August 1970. Graduated as a doctor from the medical faculty of Hasanuddin University in 1996. He then spent three years working in community health center in remote areas from 1996 to 1999. He began his career as a lecturer at the Department of Nutrition Hasanuddin University medical school in 1999. After obtaining a master degree in clinical nutrition from Monash University, Australia in 2002, he continued his doctoral course at The First Department of Internal Medicine in the field of diabetology and graduated in 2008. After returning to Indonesia he joined Hasanuddin University Medical Research Centre (HUMRC) as the head of the metabolic syndrome research division. He conducts research and has published papers in the field of nutrigenomics and diabetology. He also works as a clinical nutrition specialist consultant at Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo and Hasanuddin University hospitals in Makassar.
Nur Indrawaty Lipoeto is a Professor of Nutrition from Medical Faculty of Andalas University. She has a Medical Degree from Andalas University (1988) and graduated as Master in Medical Science from Sheffiled University (UK) in 1993. She finished her PhD from Monash University, Australia, in 2002. Her research interest is in obesity, metabolic syndrome, fatty acid and antioxidants. She has published 7 papers in International peer reviewed journals, and has been invited as speakers in many International congress in the field of nutrition and food. Along her academic career, she gain several international research grants from Nippon Foundation, British Council and USAID and annually involve in several studies funded by DIKTI. Recently she has been appointed as Invited Reasearch Fellow of China International Foodology Institute (2015-2020). Nur Indrawaty also has served as Fellow in Asian Public Intelectual since 2008.
Professor Mohammad Juffrie, was born on January 14, 1955. In 1980 until 1986, he was the Head of Health Centre in East Java. From 1986 until present, he has been a Lecturer in Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University. In 1999 until 2014, he was a Chairman of Interests Prodi S2 TROPMED in Medical Faculty, Gadjah Mada University. Prof. Juffrie is currently as the Director of PhD Program in Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University. He received his Medical degree in 1979 from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, completed his Pediatric residency in 1990 from Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University, his PhD in Medicine in 2002 at Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, Netherlands and his Professor in 2010 at Gadjah Mada University. His research interest is about Child Health. He has > 40 international and national scientific publications and he is also participating in several professional organizations.
